Honda CR-V vs Toyota RAV4

Leading the way in the world of crossovers, the 2020 Honda CR-V and 2020 Toyota RAV4 both come with great performance and a list of features. Which one, though, is best for your commute around Abington, Willow Grove, and Glenside?

Join our Marty Sussman Honda team as we explore what these two SUVs offer in our Honda CR-V vs. Toyota RAV4 comparison below.

Honda CR-V Interior Cabin

CR-V vs RAV4: Passenger Volume

When you open the doors to the Honda CR-V, you will be welcomed by a spacious and premium interior design. Among its two rows, there are five seats, which share 105.9 cubic feet of passenger volume.

Looking inside the Toyota RAV4, you will also see five seats among its two rows of seating. It doesn’t offer quite as much room for you and your passengers, though, since it has just 98.9 cubic feet of passenger volume.

Room for Your Cargo

Behind its spacious two rows of seating, there is also another 39.2 cubic feet of cargo volume in the 2020 CR-V. This lets you pack up bags when out shopping, gear for the day’s activities, and much more. Even fold down the rear seats and fit items of various shapes and sizes in the Honda CR-V. This will give you a maximum of 75.8 cubic feet of cargo volume.

The RAV4 can’t fit nearly as much gear in the back as the CR-V can since it has only 37.6 cubic feet of cargo volume. While you can also fold down the rear seats in the Toyota SUV, this will give you just 69.8 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Which SUV is More Comfortable?

Beyond the space the 2020 Honda CR-V provides you with, there are also other features at work to help make your ride as comfortable as possible. While each of these SUVs have premium audio systems that let you enjoy your favorite music, the CR-V does an extremely great job at keeping unwanted sound out of your vehicle thanks to Active Noise Cancellation™.

During the winter, the available heated front seats and steering wheel make those commutes to work much more comfortable. You can even get the available 12-way power adjustment driver’s seat in your CR-V. With its 4-way power lumbar support, this seat gives you the power to fine tune the exact seated position you would like.

The 2020 RAV4 also has available heated seats as well as an available heated steering wheel. However, it has just an available 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat, which means you will have less control over the different ways you can maneuver your seat. In the long run, the Honda CR-V is more comfortable during farther commutes.
